Lindsey here, a mom of 4 (oldest if 5 and youngest is one month old!)
I've done this a few times and I feel better during this recovery than all the others!

Here's what I'm doing:
Gua Sha and lymphatic drainage. I think it's important to acknowledge that I did this my entire pregnancy as well and it is making a massive difference in my recovery! So no matter where you are at in your pregnancy or postpartum recovery - learn gua sha!
Managing inflammation and pain naturally The duo I used and will forever recommend is the Frankincense + Bosewellic Acid Complex and Deep Blue Polyphenol Complex. Using these 2 together I only took a tylenol twice. Listen to your body (and of course there are different needs for C-section recovery, etc.) But our bodies are designed to heal and I believe in skipping pharmaceutacles and using nature whenever possible.
Fueling with whole food nutrition Of course I'm talking about wholesome meals, but also about smart supplementation. The VMG+ superjuice has become one of my favorite parts of my morning rhythm because I feel great. I have better energy and better mental health this time. I super stack it with the Advantage Collagen +NMN and the EO Mega fatty acids. All together it is fuel for cellular health, repair, and energy.
Why it works:
Gua Sha (facial and full body) and Lymphatic Drainage (opening the Big 6) are practices that will move stagnant lymph, increase blood flow and circulation, and helping tighten and strengthen the skin.
Lymphatic Drainage – Helps flush out excess fluids, toxins, and hormonal byproducts that can accumulate postpartum. And reduces puffiness especially around the face and eyes. When you're feeling tired from late nights feeding the babe, this gives you a boost of confidence.
Supports Circulation + Healing – Promotes blood flow to speed up tissue repair and overall recovery.
Hormonal Balance - The body processes a major hormonal shift after birth. Lymphatic drainage helps flush out excess hormones and metabolic waste, promoting a smoother transition. It can even help clear breakouts and improve skin tone by increasing circulation. I recommend using a castor oil based serum for extra support here.
Tension Relief – Eases tension in the shoulders, back and hips from labor, stress, sleepless nights, breastfeeding postures, and carrying your newborn. (Not to mention any of their siblings!)
Balances the Nervous System – Encourages relaxation and stress relief, helping with mood stabilization and postpartum anxiety. It is a simple 2 to 20 minute practice that will leave you feeling refreshed.
Supports Energy Levels & Mood - Poor lymphatic flow can contribute to sluggishness and brain fog. Moving stagnant lymph promotes circulation, oxygenation, and more clarity.
Frankincense + Bowsellic Acid Complex is a combination of frankincense essential oil and the resin that contains boswellic acid - studied and well known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
Reduces Inflammation - soothes inflammation, speeding up healing in muscles, joints and tissues.
Hormone and Mood Support - Postpartum hormone fluctuations can contribute to stress, mood swings, and baby blues. Frankincense has been shown to promote emotional balance and calm the nervous system.
Gut Health + Digestion - you may experience sluggish digestion as everything is shifting back into place. Boswellic acids help reduce bloating and the integrity of the gut lining.
Restful Sleep + Stress Relief - Frankincense helps calm the mind, reduce cortisol levels, and improve sleep quality so you will feel more rested even though your sleep pattern is all over the place.

VMG+ is the superjuice I drink daily with highly absorbable vitamins, minerals and greens. It has melthylated folate and B vitamins so it makes a great prenatal as well, but is great for anyone.
Replenishes Nutrients – Pregnancy and birth deplete key vitamins and minerals. VMG+ helps restore essential micronutrients for energy, healing, and overall wellness.
Boosts Energy + Metabolism – Supports cellular energy production (ATP), helping combat postpartum fatigue and brain fog.
Digestion + Gut Health – VMG+ contains enzymes and probiotics that promote digestion, reduce bloating, and support nutrient absorption.
Hormones + Mood – With adaptogenic and metabolic support, VMG+ can help stabilize postpartum hormones, easing mood swings, stress, and emotional fluctuations.
EO Mega+ has omega 3 fatty acids from Norweigan wild caught fish and omegas 6 and 9 from plant sources. It also has Wild Orange essential oil added to protect everything from oxidation, so the quality stays potent and fresh. (No pregnant or postpartum mama needs to suffer through fishy burps or nasty taste - in fact, you can swallow them as a pill or pop them in your mouth like I do.)
Brain + Mood – DHA and EPA (from omega-3s) help reduce postpartum brain fog, support memory, and stabilize mood which can be helpful for baby blues and mental health. DHA is also essential for baby’s brain and nervous system development. So a great addition for mama and baby.
Hormones – Omega fatty acids are important in hormone production and regulation, so support yourself through the postpartum regulation roller coaster.
Advantage Collagen +NMN is not like other collagen supplements you'll find. The collagen chains are smaller and act as codes to actually do the thing you are taking them to do. Growing babies and then healing your own body requires a lot from your body. So take one that will do more for your recovery than the typical kinds you'll find at the grocery store.
Supports Skin, Hair, Muscle + Tissue Healing – The 9 types of highly absorbable collagen help repair skin elasticity, stretch marks, and postpartum hair loss, and supports tissue recovery from birth or C-section.
Boosts Energy + Reduces Fatigue – NMN (a building block for NAD+) supports cellular energy production, which is great for brain fog and the exhaustion from long nights and high demands.
Blood Sugar + Metabolism – Stabilizing blood sugar is important for hormone regulation, weight management, and energy levels. You're probably eating more to keep up with breastfeeding demands. So limit the spikes and crashes.
Everyone's needs are different, so make sure you consult with your medical professional before using new supplements. This is my experience and what has worked for me.
